Position Summary
As an Account Manager of Dealer Sales at one of the nations largest garage door manufacturers, you will enjoy a fast-paced career, managing your time between your home office and travel in your assigned territory. Principle Responsibilties/ Qualifications
- This position requires experience calling on business owners of small to medium size companies, in a highly competitive market, where your offerings were often the most expensive.
- You must excel at building profitable customer relationships and already possess consultative selling skills.
- You must be a self-starter and have a history of finding new business opportunities and closing new accounts on your own.
- You must have excellent time management skills and a history of sales success in an ever-changing market.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, experience with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs are essential.
- You must be willing to travel an average of 1-2 nights per week, by car, in a territory encompassing Southern California ranging from Bakersfield south including Mexico.
- You should have a successful track record of working in a home office environment.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred and prior experience selling building products or construction related materials is helpful.
