Executive Protocol
For officer-level
positions and others that my be considered of strategic importance to an
employer, our Account Executives work directly with the client to develop
a detailed profile of the position, addressing both the skill and behavioral
components necessary for success. Employing the strength of the industry’s best Research team, they then conduct an exhaustive
search for the unique individuals who meet those defined standards, considering
both internal and external candidates, and develop a final slate of individuals
who are qualified for and interested in the opportunity. Following rigorous,
on-site personal interviewing, they evaluate the finalist candidates for
aptitude by administering the Caliper Profile, or other professional assessment
tools preferred by the client, and ensure the integrity of each individual
through thorough reference and background reviews. Extensive Executive
Profiles are then developed, and these reports are provided to the client
along with the candidates’ résumés. The Account Executives
then coordinate all of the necessary interviewing and subsequent employment
offers to ensure a successful completion of the project.
This comprehensive process can be conducted in a totally confidential manner if necessary and is engaged on a retained basis.
Process:
- Professional management from inception through report date by a dedicated Account Executive.
- Thorough evaluation and definition of the responsibilities of the position and the behavioral attributes required.
- Exhaustive investigation by our Research team to identify the universe of talent to be considered for the role.
- Detailed presentation of the opportunity to prospects by the Account Executive to ensure the highest level of response.
- Comprehensive screening, testing, and interviewing to narrow the field of prospects to include only the “best of the best”.
- Detailed presentation of the finalist candidates’ résumés along with Executive Profiles created to provide additional insights.
- Total involvement by the Account Executive throughout the process to provide constructive feedback for hiring, on-boarding processes.
- Balanced commitment to both client and candidate to ensure that the project will result in an unqualified “win-win” situation.
Fee Structure:
This level of search shall be conducted on a fully retained basis, and the
client will commit to employing no other recruiting source of any kind.
For each Executive Protocol project, one-third of the estimated fee will
be due upon engagement of the project. A second third of the fee will be
due upon submission of the slate of finalist candidates with final payment
due upon completion of the search. The total fee will equal twenty-five
percent (25%) of the candidate’s estimated initial annual gross compensation
plus any expenses incurred in the project. For purposes of calculation,
gross compensation will be defined as base salary and any guaranteed incentive
or bonus payments or inducements afforded to the candidate at time of employment
offer.
