John Zurak

John Zurak brings a diversity of skill-sets to Schaffer Associates, joining the company as a Research Associate in early 2006.

As part of the Research team, John is able to lean heavily on his experience as a journalist, having

been a beat writer in the United States and abroad. Some of the highlights of his experience include researching and covering the NFL and the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games in his native Australia. At Schaffer Associates, John has contributed to both consulting projects and executive search assignments, and he has worked in a variety of sectors including manufacturing and retail.

Prior to joining Schaffer Associates, John was a highly successful manager at one of the fastest growing retail organizations in the United States. He contributed greatly in growing its business in the Florida market, helping to position it as a responsible member of the community.

John has earned his Masters in Journalism at the University of Wollongong, Australia, and completed his undergraduate B/A in History and Political Sciences at the same well-distinguished institution.
