Territory Sales Manager - Carolina's

  

The objective for this hiring is to identify and recruit someone who is a driver and willing to take charge, yet be a team player; with a strong focus on results, growth, profitability, territory leadership and ownership. This territory will consist of North Carolina, South Carolina and Southern Virginia.  This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

Requirements and Expectations

• Market development specific to major metro areas including: Richmond, Norfolk, Raleigh, Charlotte, Greenville, Coastal areas.
• Additional responsibilities also for some outlying areas.
• Calling on new residential construction contractors, retail, and manufactured housing businesses.
• Ability to simultaneously balance volume need with product margin.
• Creativity and planning in negotiations.
• Ability to work with all levels and types of customer, up and down an organization.
• Development and implementation of market strategies for all products.
• Ability to expand product within current base by other means of product applications.
• Frequent travel within the territory.
• Education BS/BA (required).

Experience

• Strong market development abilities and proven sales record
• Value added selling
• Actual hands on field experience
• 7+ years of sales experience
• Building Material / Insulation experience
